I'm not sure I've ever seen this blog before, but it's a fun read.  I don't know how I missed it, but if you have too then check it out.  Here's a shot of the author at a recent Scottish games.

Kilted Sailing

Sailing would generally fall under the "not a good idea in a kilt" category for me, but these folks make it look natural.  Susan and Randy have been sailing for a few years (continually) and it seems like they wear kilts on a fairly regular basis.  It's a fun blog with great shots and nice writing.  It may make you want to quit your job and take to the sea though.

Kilt Searches

Kilted Thebes over at kiltblog.com posted some of the google searches that landed folks on his site.  I think my favorite search was ""bathroom business while wearing a scottish kilt".  You can read the entire post at http://kiltblog.com/2008/04/17/kilted-searches/

I looked through google analytics to see how people are finding me and while not quite as interesting here are a few of the good ones:

pinning of the tartan
how do you wear kilt shoes
gay kilt
tartan goodwin (as far as I know, there is no Goodwin Tartan)

I'll have to start coming up with stranger titles if I want the really odd traffic.  The most searched for term that pulled up my site is "blacklader" and variations there of.

Free Hugs from a man in a Kilt

A friend sent me this cute story about free hugs in Seattle.  Seattle being the Utilicaptle of the world, it makes sense that free hugs would be offered by a man in a kilt.  The little kid jumping in and taking the sign makes it addorable though.

Kilt Blog

I recently discovered another kilted blogger who recently discovered me!  He came up on a google
alert with a post about visiting Seattle.  He also happens to link to my blog in the same post! 

Here's a snippet from his post:

Seattle has been odd almost to the point of being surreal. Today I also happened to meet a model from one of the Utilikilt videos, she was the barkeep where I went to kill time while my wife did her biz. Those were two very strong soda and scotches she made, btw. And a moment ago, in the hotel lobby, I met a neighbor of utilikilt’s founder. Its a big city, and yet the unbifurcated world seems so small.
